Hi! Let's GO GREEN today!

Do you know the expression eco footprint? It has become very popular lately. People are getting more and more concious about the environment. The products we buy need to have this imprint:

I suppose you already know what footprint is. Can you recognise all of them?

1. Brainstorm ideas about the word eco footprint in your notebook. What do you think it is?

2. Then, look up the word in a dictionary. Write the definition.

3. The countries with the biggest ecological footprint are China, USA and India. Do you know what position does Spain occupy in this ranking? Do some research on the Internet to find out.

4. CALCULATE YOUR ECO FOOTPRINT. Answer these questions in your notebook:

• How many planets would you need if you go on consuming like that?

• What's your carbon footprint?

5. Watch this video on food eco-footprint and summarise in your notebook:
