Today we will test our reading skills with the exercises on page 126 CITIZEN Z B1. You are going to read the story of a Guy who went for an interview at the BBC and saw himself in a very embarrasing situation.
A. Read the text "A Tale of two Guys". Then do exercises 3 and 4 in your notebook.
B. Answer the following questions in your notebook:
Why is the story called "A Tale of two Guys"?
What literary device is being used in the title? I'll give you a clue:
What was the misunderstanding?
Watch the interview live on the BBC and describe what Guy Goma might have been feeling while being interviewed in that stressful situation. Use five adjectives to describe him.
C. Do you feel a specialist on something? What is it?
Write five questions about your specialist subject you would feel confident answering to.
