G'day! ;)
Let's revise Units 5 and 6. Go to page 62 of your workbooks (Citizen Z B1). Don't forget I sent you a copy of it in case you didn't have it. Follow the instructions I give here please, and don't miss any step!
First, we'll try some listening activities.
1. 4.17 Listen to the interview with the member of a band and do exercises 1 and 2.

2. Give an answer to these extra questions:
a. The person being interviewed says the trumpet player dropped out? What does that mean?
b. Who plays what in the band?
3. In exercise 3 from page 62, you will revise the use of for and first conditional. Remember:
We use for with periods of time. For example: for a month/three years/eight hours...As opposed to since, which is used to set a starting point. For example: since 5 o'clock, 2012, last year...
Ago normally appears with the past simple tense, never with the present perfect tense: "I met (past) her six years ago, so I have known (present perfect) her for six years or since 2014"
First conditionals describe things that I think are likely to happen in the future, whereas the second conditional talks about things that I don't think will really happen. It's subjective; it depends on my point of view.
4. In exercise 4 from page 62, you will revise present perfect simple and continuous:
I have already finished my homework : have/ has + past participle (-ed for regular verbs or 3rd column of irregular verbs) This means that you started some time in the past and you have just finished or finished in the present.
I have been chatting on the phone for hours: have/has + BEEN+ ing form of the verb. This means that you started some time in the past and will possibly continue. It is normally a tiresome activity that you would prefer not to do.
5. We will finish today's work doing exercises 5 and 6 on page 62 on the Units' vocabulary.
