50th Anniversary of the March on Washington

With August 28th marking the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington many are taking this time to reflect on the things that have been accomplished, and things that are left to do. There is no doubt that has some progress has been made, but has the dream been realized?

Forty years after it was first opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Opera House remains central to Australia's life and identity.The Opera House was conceived six decades ago to embody the hopes of a young country and help mould a better, more enlightened community.

12th anniversary of the Twin Towers collapse

The twin towers of the World Trade Center were more than just buildings. They were proof of New York's belief in itself. Built at a time when New York's future seemed uncertain, the towers restored confidence and helped bring a halt to the decline of lower Manhattan. Brash, glitzy, and grand, they quickly became symbols of New York.
